Samsung has confirmed the presence of the Galaxy A82 5G

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Quantum 2 smartphone in South Korea, and the Galaxy A82 5G is expected to be released globally. Although the company hasn't confirmed the existence of such a smartphone, it has already been classified as a phone that is available for quarterly security updates.

The Quantum 2/ Galaxy A82 5G has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with 1440p resolution and three cameras on the back: a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera has a 10MP sensor, and the phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery.

The Snapdragon 855+ chipset in the Galaxy Quantum 2/Galaxy A82 5G is the 2020 flagship and offers 5G coverage and plenty of performance. The QRNG security chip gives the South Korean edition its name, but it's unclear if this functionality will be available elsewhere.
