Project renders for the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have been leaked ahead of Google I/O 2021.

The specification of the Google Pixel 6 has been leaked online. In terms of style, the forthcoming Google flagship Android smartphone is getting a major makeover. Under the Pixel 6 lineup, Google will release two new smartphones. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are two of them.

The larger Pixel 6 Pro will no longer be known as the Google Pixel 6 XL. Instead, it will be known as the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The concept renders of the upcoming Pixel devices have been leaked by tipster Jon Prosser. Both devices would have a huge camera bump that extends across the back panel, according to the leaked renders. The standard model will have two sensors, while the Pro version will have three. The camera sensors' specifications are currently undisclosed. The vanilla model will, however, have a main and ultrawide angle lens, while the Pro model will have an extra telephoto lens.

According to leaked images, the upcoming Pixel 6 series will be very colourful. According to Prosser, two-thirds of the rear panel will be white, while the area above the black camera module will be orange. There will also be champagne gold and fading orange finishes available.

According to Prosser, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro would have extremely thin bezels on the front. The phones will have a hole-punch camera cutout as well as a fingerprint scanner built into the display. At this time, there are no details about the display's size or other requirements.

The volume and power buttons are on the right side, while the left edge is blank. Google is working on a custom processor codenamed Whitechapel, according to previous reports. This custom Google Silicon is rumoured to be included in the upcoming Pixel 6 series.

The launch date for the Pixel 6 series is currently uncertain. In October 2021, the company will release the flagship smartphone series. Google is currently preparing for its Google I/O 2021 conference. The Android developer event will take place from May 18 to May 21. Google is expected to show off Android 12 and discuss some of its latest and upcoming features. It is also expected to show off new hardware, including the Google Pixel 5a.
